Okuma is known for its technology leadership and world-class manufacturing, product quality and dedication to customer service. Okuma products are used in the automotive, aerospace and defense, construction and farming equipment, oil and energy, medical, mold and die, and fluid power industries.

Okuma offers a wide variety of machining centers for heavy duty cutting and high speed production applications.  Advanced features like thermal compensation, chilled bar screws, tool life monitoring, and user friendly software functions are available on all models. 

Okuma also offers a full line of high performance machining centers with Fanuc controls.  These models range from small horizontal and verticals, to large 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers.

Hermle’s machining centers are used for efficient machining of tools, molds and in series-produced parts. Due to their quality and high precision, they are used in numerous production areas, including markets such as the medical, optical, aircraft, automotive, and tool and mold making.

Originally established as Yoshida Machinery in July 1927 for the manufacturing of marine internal combustion engines, radial drilling machines and lathes, the company was renamed Kira in July 1957. Today, Kira is one of Japan’s premiere manufacturers of CNC machine tools.

In addition to Swiss-type lathes, Morris South also sells and services Tsugami machining centers. Sold with integrated pallet pools, the Tsugami FMA machining centers are fully contained flexible manufacturing cells. Build for heavy cutting, Tsugami machining centers hold exacting tolerances year in and year out.
