Okuma America recognizes Christopher Robson of Morris Midwest

Chris Robson, Application Engineer, was awarded The Larry Schwartz award for Excellence in Engineering.

Windsor, Conn. (November 7, 2014) Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., announced today that Christopher Robson, Application Engineer, was named the recipient of the prestigious Larry Schwartz Award by Okuma America Corporation of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Chris was recognized for “Excellence in Engineering” by Okuma America. The awards are presented to employees of Okuma America and its exclusive distributors who best represent the characteristics of its namesake, retired president Larry Schwartz.  As leader of Okuma in North America, Schwartz was both a visionary and trailblazer. He helped set Okuma's standards for excellence in leadership, customer service, sales, and engineering.

We only do so when we recognize exceptional and dedicated performance in an individual like Chris,” said Jim Kosmala, Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Okuma America. “Chris exhibits exceptional dedication and passion that we choose to acknowledge with this award.”

Brad Morris, President of Morris Group, Inc., recognized for excellence in leadership, and Craig Cottrell, Executive Vice President of The Robert E.
