Machine Tool Systems (MTS) and the R.O Deaderick Company (RODCO) enjoyed stellar reputations as highly regarded machine tool distributors before officially merging to form Morris South in July 2009. In years prior, these two strong distributorships worked closely together as separate divisions of Morris Group, Inc.   As Morris South, we enjoy sharing the large pool of engineering and service resources in our combined regions and through the network of Morris Group, Inc. companies. 

We offer new equipment, custom engineered solutions, replacement parts, service, preventative maintenance and more. Our services range from customer consultation, financing, installation, training, and service to disposition of your retired machines through our Capital Asset Lifecycle Management® program.

Two-thirds of our staff are dedicated to providing engineering, parts and service support; no other machine tool distributor in the Southeast is better structured to get your machine tools in place, producing, and performing optimally.  We'll take you from print to part in as little time as possible.  We'll work with you to design, optimize and implement custom engineered solutions to help your company do more with less. Our 24/7 program ensures that someone is always on call if you need parts or service.

Morris South represents many of metalworking's premium brands, including Okuma, Tsugami, Kira, Takamaz and Loxin.  Our customers in the Southeastern U.S. are serviced by two regional offices.

The Charlotte, North Carolina regional office of Morris South was conducting business as Machine Tool Systems when it joined Morris Group, Inc. in 1984.  Our Charlotte technical center is co-located with Okuma's Partners in THINC facility. Parts and Service Engineers based in this region are committed to keeping your machines running optimally and will respond to your needs in a prompt and professional manner.

The Huntsville, Alabama regional office of Morris South was conducting business as the R.O. Deaderick Company when it joined Morris Group, Inc. in 1988. Our Alabama office delivers the same high caliber of customer service that is the R.O. Deaderick Company's legacy to manufacturers in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Florida panhandle.
